Contributor Guidelines

Membership to the site allows you access to comment on blog entries and post to our forum.

The Limner Society Forum is intended for visual artists of Christian faith, and those who wish to support them, to discuss issues surrounding art making and intersections of Christian faith and visual art.

This is not a forum to create divisions based on denominations, theology, or the like, so keep your posts civil and loving in the model of humility. We encourage sharpening of each other as brothers and sisters in Christ, but remember that love and relationship are the best foundations for such discussions and exhortations.

We would like to keep the threads here focused on their specific designated topic areas within the various forums. We will be discussing art making processes, materials, studio practices, Christian faith, audience, and much more. In order to remain a full member, able to post, we are setting a threshold of competence, experience, and commitment to the goals of the site. Please try to keep the level of discussion high, and relevant.

The Limner Society’s Blog is intended to share with the audience news about the Limner Society and its members, current trends in visual art, and encouragement for artists of faith.

Please keep your blog comments in good taste and civil. Remember to respect the diversity of our audience. We hope that you will post comments and entries that encourage and sharpen others and that are glorifying to God.

We reserve the right to block your access to any or all parts of the Limner Society’s website upon the instance of misuse or abuse of our guidelines.
