The Limner Society website is our virtual community and a conduit for social networking among visual artists of Christian faith to dialogue and collaborate both locally and globally. In addition to information about tLS, the site will include a Forum, Network/Artists Pages, Blogs, and an Online Store.
- Using the Forum, artists can discuss art and faith, art’s impact on culture, art techniques and applications, the challenges involved in making art, and much more.
- Network/Artists Pages will be user-defined pages where artists can show their work and network with other artists and communities.
- Our Blog will include personal reflections and insights into artists and the programs and initiatives in which they participate.
- In our Online Store we will offer support materials for artists and communities, such as our SOTA presentation and Illumine. We will post links to other sites, where you can find information and materials that provide research and a foundation for local initiatives, and otherwise support ideas surrounding visual art and faith. We will also have T-shirts and other fun products available for purchase to help support tLS and its mission.
Our website will also serve visual art audiences by displaying online galleries of artwork, spaces for commentary, and a forum for discussion. We hope that a relationship is forged between artists and their audience and that the discussion will be dynamic and mutually beneficial.
